They do. A corruption path MC is colder and feels nothing towards killing humans, and killing in general. A "good" path MC is like a white knight hero. Very out of character in my opinion. The corruption path MC character interactions and development are peak in comparison.
Yep, but as you probably noticed that certain character is at odds with the organisation and MC in the corruption path way more. Personally I think it's a much more satisfying story that way.
scroll down on the comments here and check if your game looks like that other screenshot asking about where the start button is. if it does, that looks like a problem with the screen resolution size to me so try and change it to windowed instead of fullscreen in preferences. Otherwise you could use the arrows to select the start button even without seeing it, just press up or down until Load is highlighted then go up one more time and press enter. if you set your game on windowed and the start button still doesnt appear idk what to tell ya, might be a problem with the new update or smt
I'm a little late but you have to download joiplay (I would add links but they wont let me). Make sure to download the renpy add-ons too. Once that's done go to f95 zone and type in superhuman. Download the one that says windows. Now here's the important part, I need you to decompress the file. Once that's done go on join play and click the cross and press add game. After that find a file that says superhuman.exe. and click on it.
Just clicked on the "more info" tab/dropdown because I was looking for the patreon/discord links and the average session length is "A few seconds!?" 🤣

So I'm on my third playthrough and I cannot fathom why early on when you have the chance to tell Ella that you learned how to make poison, she kills you if you tell her, this seems completely contradictory to everything she does and says in interactions with you, I know its entitled to thing the dev might respond to this, but what is the reason she does this if its not a major plot spoiler down the line.
The way I understood, Ella tried to become the child of two Apostles, but failed due to no killing Christie. Since then, she has been attempting to create one, failing until us. If we reveal that we have the powers of both Memory and Body, she kills us to absorb our powers. If we stay quiet, she nurtures us so we may unlock said powers. At least this is my interpretation of her.

I don't know how I won, I guess I just did it how I would if it were me. Wish I could help, but I have zero clue how I succeeded. I suggest staying focused, and hiding. Choosing human, the safety of your friends (don't remember exact phrasing), and evolution should help.
Edit: If you are having trouble still, try qsave and qload, if you die you can always go back.
Also if you don't have 500 power, you probably won't win. I think I had 495 or 498, and the cutscenes just poked my power up to 500 when I wasn't looking. After the current progress available, you should have 512 or so (no spoilers).
power > 500, choosing fast and risky and skill > 40 were the requrments for best end if I remember well. Other choices ether increased specific stats or straight up went to dead end… or did nothing.
this is honestly such an insanely unique game with a fantastic story, the art work and visuals can be... detracting... but its absolutely worth every second
definitely looking forward to the 1.0 version because it seems like the creator plans a graphical overhaul or something which could potentially make this a 10/10

I would appreciate certain graphic errors to be fixed, like rotating and character art changing mid-scene. Someone who is missing an arm is suddenly missing the wrong arm, or it isn't missing at all until the next scene.

i either go with rimuru or trihexia (both basically translate to 666) fitting due to both the fact that animals r often called beasts with animals being a large chunk of mc's powers and the dark nature of mc's power
Also bringing up That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Rimuru is 100% a shapeshifter that got his powers from animals and other monsters. A fitting name.
For my 'good' hero, I named him paragon due to him being the perfect hybrid of the 3rd and 4th (also bc he has no corruption, living up to his 'hero' status). I also went with Nova Luna purely because of his connection to the moon.

Valravn fight was a classic. It was also the first time he used mantis shrimp in a fight. A good 1 vs 1.
Jake fight was crazy good, it had a lot of good moments, MC could be kinda evil too killing all the guards, it was a massacre. And then Deryl joined the fight, i was very intrigued.
Cole fight was awesome. MC managed to beat him even after power up. That was kinda crazy, but it was said before that the biggest difference is between level 2 and level 3 superhumans. Level 1 to 2 you get 20 power, but from Level 2 to 3 you get 200. So the weakest level 3 can have 3 times more power than the strongest level 2.
I don't think MC have that much plot armor compared to other stories, he loses some fights, and even the ones we can win have it's bad ends or you end needind assistence. I find him balanced overall.
The plot armor i say is when he complete that paths of the 12 gods, he simply gain more 200+ power Sleeping. On the rest of the history he really dont have that much plot armor.
Hmm, in my eyes is because MC was really lacking in the memory aspect, he was almost the same as he was on level 1 (difference being memory echo), so the training really gave him a huge jump in power.
The thing is that Mc wasn't really just sleeping, he jumped to the dream world with help of Shen's powers and his moms training. We can see that the eye has a connection with this place providing him infinite energy or something like that, so we know it really exist this Dream World and can affect the real one.
The power he gains is for his memory powers, not his shapeshifting, but as a lv3, every ounce of power he gets directly affects his physical strength too, that's why he's stronger when he wakes up.
"Balance, in all things..." MC: yeah so, I'm gonna die, evolve, AND kill everything in this mansion simultaneously. You can take drugs and monsterfy, I'm the true horror.
Plot armor for the MC? So many bad ends and you really accuse him of having plot armor? xD It's not even like 10 bad ends. There's like 60-70 of them. Things can get really bad.
No one asks because they are embarrassed to or don't have it thought through enough to respond in kind. I love this game, but I would have to really take some time if I wanted to fill out a top 4 or 5 list. Additionally, it would be hard because I like so many of the characters.

Great game. Love the story, love the characters, love the concept. However I have to say for a game about shapeshifting there's very little aesthetic in the shapeshifting mechanics. It would be cool if we could at least somewhat customize how we look or when but I love the game for what it is
My guess is that the game uses pre-rendered images for its graphics (I don't know for sure but most games like this do). Those don't lend themselves well to customizable characters as each combination of appearance traits requires another version of each image. So it's probably a technical limitation.
The game is also really pretty besides. There are so many unique characters and non-humanoid images, also the variety of backgrounds grows bigger all the time. If that much work had been put into making the MC customizable, it would have taken this long just to work on the MC.
Love the game. Hate what was done to the twins and that we couldn't stop it Plus the constant new badguy gets introduced just to kick your a** then you get stronger just to get a** kicked again or f-ing plot armor stops you from winning. Those two things remind me of the one thing I hate about every battle foucused Shonen anime/ manga. Still I love the game please keep up the good work.

This rivals a lot of comics and superhero universes. In another timeline, this isn't a porn game but a well established mainstream universe.

Level 1 to 2 you get 20 power, but from Level 2 to 3 you get 200. So the weakest level 3 can have 3 times more power than the strongest level 2.
I don't think MC have that much plot armor compared to other stories, he loses some fights, and even the ones we can win have it's bad ends or you end needind assistence. I find him balanced overall.
The plot armor i say is when he complete that paths of the 12 gods, he simply gain more 200+ power Sleeping. On the rest of the history he really dont have that much plot armor.
Hmm, in my eyes is because MC was really lacking in the memory aspect, he was almost the same as he was on level 1 (difference being memory echo), so the training really gave him a huge jump in power.
The thing is that Mc wasn't really just sleeping, he jumped to the dream world with help of Shen's powers and his moms training. We can see that the eye has a connection with this place providing him infinite energy or something like that, so we know it really exist this Dream World and can affect the real one.
The power he gains is for his memory powers, not his shapeshifting, but as a lv3, every ounce of power he gets directly affects his physical strength too, that's why he's stronger when he wakes up.

Or maybe the dev was just wanting to Short the game making the develepment of the memory powers and Cole fight in 2 updates

Plot armor for the MC? So many bad ends and you really accuse him of having plot armor? xD It's not even like 10 bad ends. There's like 60-70 of them. Things can get really bad.
No one asks because they are embarrassed to or don't have it thought through enough to respond in kind. I love this game, but I would have to really take some time if I wanted to fill out a top 4 or 5 list. Additionally, it would be hard because I like so many of the characters.

Great game. Love the story, love the characters, love the concept. However I have to say for a game about shapeshifting there's very little aesthetic in the shapeshifting mechanics. It would be cool if we could at least somewhat customize how we look or when but I love the game for what it is
My guess is that the game uses pre-rendered images for its graphics (I don't know for sure but most games like this do). Those don't lend themselves well to customizable characters as each combination of appearance traits requires another version of each image. So it's probably a technical limitation.
The game is also really pretty besides. There are so many unique characters and non-humanoid images, also the variety of backgrounds grows bigger all the time. If that much work had been put into making the MC customizable, it would have taken this long just to work on the MC.
Love the game. Hate what was done to the twins and that we couldn't stop it Plus the constant new badguy gets introduced just to kick your a** then you get stronger just to get a** kicked again or f-ing plot armor stops you from winning. Those two things remind me of the one thing I hate about every battle foucused Shonen anime/ manga. Still I love the game please keep up the good work.
