Hello creator of this wonderful story, one question I have is about the name of the protagonist, since we can add any one, but we don't know his real name, just a hint in his images of the protagonist like "bld" Does he have a default name?

ok, I am new to Itch i have the game downloaded how do I update it without deleting my progress?
You just download it and delete the previous version folder. Only keep your safe files from the folder, and put them in the new one. That's it. You can even just delete the folder in general and not bother with transferring the safe files, since your PC probably keeps the save files in the %appdata% folder.

I going to play the version I have before playing it again because sometimes when download another version screws up where you are.
If you know where the saves are, you can just back them up if you're worried about it. This game has never given me problems with updates, so I'd say you're safe to update it anyway.
